If your age is somewhere between 5 and 95 there is a place for you in the Adare Tidy Towns (ATT) Volunteer team. The purpose of ATT is to make Adare a more pleasant and interesting place to live or visit. This presents a host of challenges and opportunities. Keeping Adare clean, tidy and litter free is an obvious challenge but the role of ATT is to do much more than that. ATT is working with various other groups to set up a Nature Trail, a Heritage Trail and refurbish the famous water fountain and monument beside the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Supported by Limerick City & County Council we also plan to make the wonderful Adare park more open and interesting and also to improve the signage and information associated with the many historic and interesting features throughout Adare.

On one or two evenings each week ATT volunteers carry out tasks such as litter collection, grass cutting, hedge and plant trimming and painting. It’s a great Community activity and new Volunteers are always welcome. In order to know what’s happening in Adare why not try out the following;
