Plant swap event on Sat 28th September 2-4pm at Lucy Erridge Crafts, Adare.

 We are hosting a plant swap – anyone who wishes to split plants that have grown too big or simply want to change plants in their garden can dig them up and bring them to our garden at Lucy Erridge in the thatched cottages.

Hopefully they will find like minded people with plants to swap and maybe find a new type of plant for their garden. The plants just need to have some roots and can be wrapped in a bag to keep the roots wet. Ideally you would provide a few words giving the name of the plant, type of soil, sunny or shade preference etc …whatever might be useful for the new owner.

There is no cost for this and we will have the kettle on between 2-4 on Sat 28 Sept. We are digging up Sea Holly, Shasta daisies, the everlasting sunflower and other plants. Any plants left over at the end of the day will be given to the Tidy Towns to plant in the village.
